A note to anyone that reads this:

I will fix this layout as soon as I possibly can. I know the template looks atrocious, but my life as of late has been overwhelmingly hectic, and I've not had the time to sit and code up something original.

Expect something new, soon.

More strawberry joy

There is a reason I stopped going to Kinokuniya all the time a year or so ago; every time I go there I want to buy EVERYTHING I SEE.

Thankfully, I was able to limit myself to just a few things, including these:

I don't even know what I'm going to use them for! but they're fantastic!

Also, I've discovered Aya Takano. I'm really digging her artwork; I picked up these postcards as well:

Ddalgi is Korean for strawberry, in case you were wondering... couldn't write it out in hangul on this accursed PC. poor nyago. *pats it*

In any case, caption says it all! STRAWBERRY ORIGAMI. half my childhood was spent making little papery creations so this made my day.

Reason no. 3425098 I should not be let loose hunting for origami paper after a doctor's appointment:

Vincenzo Eggplant:

Little Vincenzo hails from Little Italy.

He ran away from a dottering little nonna that tried to bake him into eggplant parmesan. He's on the lam!

Dislikes: fried calamari, sushi, sunny days

Meet Percy Peep!

Likes: Cornmeal, sunny days
Dislikes: Frying pans, spatulas, grumpy people.

I'll take a better photo soon; the light was terrible when I took this the other night....

For a blog entitled Strawberryesque, this makes the most sense to post up first...

My strawberry hat! Originally made the pattern in 2003, knitted the prototype, and lost it during a move. Here's the remake.

Obligatory introduction post!

I am P-tea, and Strawberryesque is my repository of crafty art-ings.

Why "Strawberryesque?" For anyone that's known me for years, it makes sense. I've been obsessed with strawberries as long as I can remember. It's infiltrated my brainmeats.

Expect photos of my knitting, crocheted creatures (which I've been obsessing over lately), design work, and random pictures of stupidly cute things. Like my cats. <3

And if I ever have extra money and come across strawberry-related objects... expect pictures of that, too.
